Marie Rocchi

Instructional Designer

Marie's role is to lead the instructional design team, create and optimize learning environments (relying on the project's experts, stakeholders and users' perspectives), and provide guidance to team members and authors as they engage in technology-enabled education. In doing so, she integrates other training aspects of the CBRNE Collaborative, including games, simulations, exercises and technical training.

Marie likes to design in all manner of learning environments from large classroom, experiential, online learning management systems, serious games, and simulations. She is an Associate Professor, at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, where she is the Academic Director of the International Pharmacy Graduate Program (IPG). She was previously Director of Educational Programs to the Center for the Evaluation of Health Professionals Educated Abroad. Marie practices pharmacy part-time in the community setting and at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health.
